Orca Valentine’s Day
Orca, the leader in simplifying cloud security for organizations, asked CreativeMC to help execute their first-ever social media swag giveaway for Valentine’s Day.
THE OBJECTIVE
Orca wanted to raise brand awareness among their target audiences: cloud security practitioners and security leaders such as CISOs. The concept was to allow LinkedIn followers to win a coveted "Orkie" (stuffed killer whale) as part of a custom Orca swag gift set. The client asked us to create their LinkedIn launch post video to announce the promotion and deliver the gifts to the winners in branded packaging.
THE PROCESS
We recommended an eye-catching stop-motion video to launch the promotion on LinkedIn and showcase the unboxing experience in a highly engaging way. To highlight the Valentine’s Day theme, the video began by focusing on the kit’s custom M&Ms. The branded packaging included a white branded box, crinkle paper, and a note card.
THE RESULTS
The launch post video had over 1,400 views on LinkedIn with a 4.7% engagement rate. A fresh representation of the Orca brand, the stop-motion video was highly differentiated from other content and popped on the client’s feed!
